2008 Toyota Matrix

I bought the Matrix S with the 2.4L 5 spd. auto./sequential trans.The acceleration is great the higher torque of the 2.4 really shows up.I own an 04 Corolla with the 1.8L and there is no comparing the two. Only reved it up to 3500 rpm cause of break in period.and it goes.Can't say enough about the 2.4L in it makes all the difference in the world.Good Job Toyota.Plenty of space for hauling stuff.My fishing poles and tents,sleeping bags.

Most 4 cyl. loose pep when they shift this is steady acceleration right through the gears.No problems with the new electronic power steering,responds real good.Purchase the vehicle you will not be sorry.
