The Neon: Sleek, refined and it can shine

The Dodge Neon, especially the second-generation model, is one of the most sleek and most refined vehicles to have been seen on the road to date. It has the sleek appearance of a fairly cheap sports car, making it an inspiring sight for gleaming eyes. Though there are a number of more expensive vehicles that rival in terms of sleekness, but it has everything that one could ask for in a compact car. In fact, its small and streamlined design only add to its overall bombast.

To say that the car is bombastic could only be referenced in a positive sense, simply because that’s what the car is. Its curves and bulges can only be seen in a pompous light, and it surely deserves to be taken out and driven hard upon any unsuspecting road. Those curves just need to feel the plow of a vibrant gust of wind, because that’s what streamlined cars are made for. They are designed to cut through the wind almost like a knife, and the Dodge Neon is by far no exception.

The curves and bulges that this car possesses, however, also add to its overall show. It remains one of the most curvaceous vehicles seen on the road, with its astounding bumper that is fully formed and with an attractive and plump refinement. The highly-raked, cab-forward roof design just adds thrust to this astounding bombast, giving the overall vehicle the appearance of having a much slender front end that veers down as if it’s ready to pounce. Ever see a Neon corner sharply and quickly? In those split seconds, the sight is one that won’t be forgotten.

The curves and bulges that make this car the sleek bombast that it is are further slammed onto a fairly tight suspension, but those who want a rough and wild ride won’t be disappointed. The suspension might be firm and tight, but it does have some good bounce. Though definitely not as bouncy as the classics of the 1970s and 1980s, those sleek curves aren’t always going to get a comfortable ride. It does depend a lot on the driver in the end, but if I were you … I’d take a Neon out, and I’d give it just what it deserves.

It is a fairly powerful vehicle with good fuel mileage, so it is definitely a choice for those wanting an economy ride. If you’re like me, however, and you see something else in the car besides just a good economy ride, then those sleek curves are bound to strike deep within your heart. You will just want to wail that car from one side of the road to the other. You will just want to bounce that car up and down and over a few bumpy surfaces. Sure, that will be rough on the car. It might even wear it down a bit, but it’s a Neon!

I strongly recommend a Dodge Neon to anyone who has a passion for the sleek and the compact. Its small size and highly-curvaceous exterior are like shining gleams straight to the eyes. This is a car that won’t do you wrong. All you will need to do is put a little passion into it. You may need to break it in a bit at first. Once this car feels that it belongs to nobody but you, then by all means … take it out for a spin. Show it who’s boss. And make that Neon obey your every command! - RM -
