Great car

I have owned this car for 2 years and have no problems with it. The car handles well, especially in rain. I have never driven it in snow so I can't comment on that. The Rogue has great grip and acceleration and allows one to move easily in and out of traffic. I don't have any issues with the engine and horsepower but wasn't looking for that when I looked at cars. I feel there is enough power, even with the car packed with heavy items during moving furniture.

I get 22 mpg city and 27 mpg highway. There is plenty of legroom in the front and back of the car and can fit 5 people comfortably. Everyone who has sat in the backseat says it feels roomy and that is with the front seats moved all the way back.

All of the controls are easy to use and see. I can change the radio station, use a cell phone and use cruise control all from the steering wheel. One of my favorite features is the display that says how many miles are left in the tank. I have found this to be 99% accurate and I don't have to guess how much further I can go before I need to fill up with gas.

My other favorite feature is the hidden compartment in the back. I can hide my purse or other valuables there but mostly, I use the compartment to partition the back area of the car into different compartments. It is great to keep things from rolling around in the back since there is plenty of storage room. I am able to fit more stuff in the back of the Rogue that friends with comparable size SUVs. For more room, anybody can hold down the back seats with one hand. It is also nice not to have to take the headrests off before you fold down that seat as I have had to do with other SUVs.

I upgraded to the LS and have the remote keyless entry which is a lifesaver. My hands can be full or groceries or shopping bags and it is easy to lock and unlock the car without having to spend 20 minutes digging in my purse for the keys. You also have to be right next to the door to unlock it so I feel safe unlocking the car and not having some stranger trying to unlock it on the other side.

The car's A/C and heat system works well, especially during 100 degree heat. The air vents can rotate 360 degrees or be closed. This is helpful since I usually want to car colder than my husband. I can have cold air blowing on me and he can have no air blowing on him.

The only thing I wish this car had was automatic seat controls instead of manual. We got the cloth seats instead of leather so couldn't upgrade to this feature.

I have been very happy with the 2008 Nissan Rogue and would recommend it to anyone.
