This is definitely a muscle car that even a lady can appreciate. I purchased this car in '06, brand new from a local dealership. I loved the fact that it was a fast, well-built, strong car but was roomy, comfortable, and stylish enough for the whole family. My husband is not embarrassed to drive the "wife's car", and I'm not embarrassed to be in a "hot rod", not mention the kids don't mind if their mom drops them off in the "cool car". We didn't purchase the supped up 6.0 but ours runs great and it still has the muscle car feel to it. It’s black with gray interior. The interior is easy to clean. If the kids have a spill, just wipe it up with a damp rag.
The Positives: -It's roomy and comfortable, great for traveling with the kids on long trips, they can stretch out and nap without being all cramped up. -It's great on gas, about 28 miles to the gallon (hwy). In these days and times, that's always a plus. -It has great features without being too gadgetry. The seats are easy to adjust. The factory CD player sounds great. -Great value...21,000, we put 2500 down, and pay just over 400 a month -Air vents in the backseat the circulate cool air or warm heat throughout the vehicle -Very roomy trunk -Stylish just the way it is; however, there are many added features that can make this car a real beauty. Spoiler, rims, and other accessories that can be added to the cost of the car at purchase or you can add them on later if you’d like.
The Negatives: -Would have liked factory GPS, but it was not an option in the car we purchased. -Sirus radio was an add on, and we had to purchase an adaptor that showed station, song title and musician..... -No cup holders in backseat, which is a big deal when traveling with kids. -No digital temp or compass, this is one of that big deal if it's not there until you get lost traveling and could really use the compass feature.
We have not had any major mechanical problems with this vehicle since we made the purchase 3 years ago. There was one slight factory flaw in the vehicle: the shift was stuck in park. However, we were able to research it online, get it out of park and bring it to the dealership, for about $100.00 it was good as new. If the only problem we’ve had with it in 3 years cost only $100.00 bux, I think we’re doing ok.
All in all it’s a great car at a great price. Dodge cars are stylish, affordable and reliable. I’ve gotten wonderful complements on the appearance of it and friends have even asked to drive it to see if it’s a purchase they’d like to make.... and a few have. You’ll be impressed with how smooth of a ride, and how much power you’ll get. It was a great purchase and I’m now looking at the Dodge Challenger!
