2009 Dodge Challenger

I own a few muscle cars from the late 60's and early 70's. We have not had anything lately to get excited about. I test drove a Challenger R/T and was very impressed by its quality, power and handling. It's the best of both worlds - power, great looks, styling combined with a six speed manual tranny, - the handling is great, fuel mileage is better than anything ive ever owned and the styling is certainly distinctive. It’s not nearly as heavy as it looks, but it still doesn’t quite step out the way id hoped. The plastic interior is a little off-putting, but there are many interior trim kits to buy aftermarket so this is not much of a problem. I'm 6'3 and had to move the seat up to reach the pedals- the interior space is wonderful. I can't imagine why this thing gets such a bad rap from the car mags. If you want an economical, sharp and not necessarily sporty car, this is it! Of course I did just trade from a jalopie 1990 Volvo, so I might just be in awe that not all cars are like that air conditioning and power everything. I am very impressed with this car and plan to purchase one in the spring
