What a beautifully designed vehicle. The exterior gives this car a very futuristic look. I owned black on black . Everything from the outside screams money, but unfortunately, the interior uses cheap looking plastic that really dampens the experience somewhat. I know this is a entry level luxury vehicle, but come on CADDY....why the cheap looking components and plastics? I wanted to really love this car due to its looks, so I gave into the cheap looking design and allowed myself to enjoy the driving. Having rear wheel drive is not a plus for me either. The north east can be relentless in the winter and this is not a winter car. It is neither any good in the rain. I lost control from the anti slip control putting me into a spin after hitting a pothole. This could have been operator error, but in either case it cost me $16,000 to fix vehicle. Overall, I had an OK experience with the 2007 CTS. Aside from the flaws mentioned above, the vehicle had good handling and awesome acceleration. The fuel economy was ok at best and the stereo system was just plain. In closing, I would recommend this car for a female as the styling is not masculine. I can not recommend this vehicle to anyone unless the interior gets better styling, the gas mileage improved and the safety issues are reconstructed.
