2009 Honda Accord

The 2009 Honda Accord offers people a unique combination of reliability and durability, at a relatively cheap price. Like other Accords, it is a spacious car making it very comfortable for all passengers and the driver. However, some find the seats uncomfortable and this car makes a lot of "road noise." The 2009 Honda Accord has a V6 engine making the acceleration and pick up of this car better than past miles. The mileage on this vehicle is average, similar to most cars. Again, the Accord's ride quality is not good at all. When you hit a bump in the road, you will certainly feel it. This may be due to the larger and overweight Accord. Some find the fact that it is larger than other Accords bad, but I find that it simply makes the car more comfortable and spacious. Maybe most Americans like myself associate bigger with better, but not everyone wants the largest car they can afford. I believe the larger size of this vehicle enables the Accord to now be called a full-size sedan. I believe a drawback to the size of this car is that the brakes don't work as well as I liked them to. Buyers be careful of this as you should really test this car's brakes out first before driving at high speeds. Another flaw of the larger size is the AC doesn't work well. Driving in the summer can be brutual as it takes a long amount of time for the air conditioner to work. I haven't enjoyed the summer driving in this car, I can tell you that. The car's interior is also very shabby. It is a shame Honda has chosen to cut costs in the interior. I think I prefered the previous Accord's interior. While many, including myself hate the interior of the car, the exterior of this car is beautiful. I think it’s a classic look with a twist of retro. The 2009 Honda Accord is so well rounded, does so many things well that it is really impossible to ignore this car when thinking of buying or leasing a car. If you need transportation that looks decent, drives reasonably well and can haul a family and serve as an efficient commuter, I just dont know that there is anything better. The two main ingredients that make the Accord great as a family hauler/commuter are mpgs and interior volume. Certainly there are cars that handle better, make less "road noise," are smaller 4 - door cars, have better air conditioners, that are more desirable, better looking inside and out, or even cost less. The Accord is simply a great combination of what people are looking for in a car even though it excels at nothing, it is far more than adequete in every department. Great recipe for sales success. All in all, I suggest this car for both families and single people. It is a great car for anyone really.
