I have had the Volkwagen Jetta Turbo 2009 since October of 2008. What I like about the car is that it is fast however it does not jump off the line right away it takes a little time to accelerate. The car drives like a luxury vehicle however and handles turns extremely well. What I also like about the car is the paint color I believe Volkswagen has the best color silver out there. It does not have to be washed on the outside that much because of the color. The interior is always a great feature with the blue and red light up dashboard. I also had the Jetta back in 2000 and it has always been a reliable stylish car. It is a great priced vehicle for all of the features that come with the vehicle. Volkswagen credit is also very easy to deal with on the phone and they have a 10 day grace period for payments made on the vehicle which helps if you are waiting for your pay period to come. I think the people that should buy this car are people just starting out in the work world. The payments for a lease are pretty inexpensive and it is a good looking modern car. Some memorable moments that I have had in the car are driving to different locations throughout Florida and North Carolina. Taking it on little side trips in the mountains or to the beach. On my trip to Key West when gas prices were through the roof it was great to have this car it is excellent on gas and $30.00 gives you a full tank. My 2000 Volkswagen was my first new car that I ever purchased. It was a great feeling having a new apartment and a new car and paying for it on my own. It is a very reliable car and you do not have to worry about it breaking down or getting stuck somewhere. The sound system in the car is excellent I had a friend who owned a Jaguar comment on how well the music sounded. One complaint I have from the dealership is that they registered my free Sirius radio for me without letting me know and I did not know that it was working for two months. On 2009 cars they offered a promotion of free service for the life of the lease and I used it once so far and there were no issues. The seating is very comfortable in the front and back. There is a lot of leg room in the back seat considering the size of the car. The trunk room is also very spacious. Other cars to consider for the young professional are the Toyota Camry and the Hyundai line they are inexpensive, great on gas and very reliable. In conclusion, this is a great car and a great company I have always wanted a Volkswagen and I have had three so far but now I think it is time for the Mercedes.
