I have replaced almost everthing on my 1997 Blazer, just as I was about to give up and search for a new car, I realized the solution to make the Blazer dependable. As the various thigs break, and they do often, replace the parts with lifetime warrant parts from Autozone that are made in China. These parts are much cheaper and are much more reliable than the GM original parts. Now that my blazer is 80% China made parts, the dependability is much better and I have a lifetime warranty on parts, not labor. The China parts are more dependable by far. Is it any wonder why GM went bankrupt, this is a crappy SUV untill I discovered the secret of replacing problems with the china parts. Good Luck
