Fantastic little sports car with the looks and flair of a more expensive car at an affordable price

This is arguably the most attractive Miata out of the range that Mazda have produced over the years. The addition of driving lights and consequential updating of the front bumper design, in combination with the nicer, 16" wheels from the factory make for a much more aesthetically pleasing vehicle.

Uprated front brakes address an issue raised by all drivers of previous model Miata's and the standard ABS puts this yet another step ahead. Power steering is well weighted and responsive, and the new 6-speed gear box allows precise, smooth shifting to make the best use of the more powerful Sequential Variable Timing 1.8L twin-cam engine.

Straight line power isn't where this car shines, it is in the corner speeds. Catch up to bikes on the corners and watch the astonished faces of their riders as they struggle to pull away. Economy is great over long distances but taller drivers beware, there is ample legroom for those of you under 6'2" but it may feel cramped after a few hundred miles.
