I have had this van for a little more than a year...and I love it! I had a 2006 CE model prior to purchasing this XLE. The XLE has the power sliding doors and rear hatch, which are great when you have an arm full of kids. The Sienna is at the top of its class for safety, reliability and performance. I am a 35 year old man who fought the minivan stigma for a long time but am glad I finally overcame it. If you have children, especially small children, there is no better mode of transportation. We have the seven passenger, which gives you a little more room with the second row captain chairs. We recently took the van on a vacation trip with four adults and two children. The trip was seven hours each way (with a 2 and 5 year old). We were all surprised at how comfortable the trip was. We had plenty of room for all of our luggage without using the hitch or roof mounted carriers. The reclining, second row captain chairs are perfect for adults to stretch out and sleep. The rear bench seat easily fit the two car seats. The conversation mirror is a great idea for keeping an eye on your children and the road. My only real dislike with the van is the second row seat removal. It is very difficult and the seats are too heavy for my wife to remove. Once you have them out it is even more difficult to get them back in place. This is not something you will do constantly so it's not a huge deal. The sound system is very good quality and includes an auxiliary port for plugging in your MP3 player. The radio controls on the radio itself are not easily reachable from the driver seat but it does have steering wheel controls that cover almost all of the options available. The cruise control switch is much easier to use than most vehicles I have driven. It is perfectly positioned at your right index finger when you hold the wheel. It is totally controlled with one finger. The ride quality is top notch in this van. It is extremely quiet on the road and handles like a car. Over the span of our road trip we monitored the fuel mileage and were pleasantly surprised that we averaged around 27MPG, which is not bad for a fully loaded van. That is better than a lot of cars would get on the same trip. Our cost of ownership has also been very low on this van. The sticker price is a little more expensive than some of the competitive makes but it has 0 days in the shop and gets better gas mileage than most of them. It also maintains a far greater amount of resale value than its competitors. Insurance is very low due to the safety ratings and three row, side curtain airbags. I would recommend this to any family with children of any age. This is the perfect family van. 5 stars in my book!
