The Volkswagen Jetta... Any person who can appreciate a quality vehicle, will appreciate a Jetta. It has very comfortable seating and all the options that make a car worth driving. With a 2.5 liter engine and 177 horses, its not a bad get up and go vehicle. It also has an optional manual shifter known as tip-tronic shifting, as well as sport shifting for the Performance enthusiast at heart. It is simple to operate. To manual shift using the tip-tronic shifting, simply put the shift knob into drive and slide it over to the passenger side of the car. Push up to up-shift, pull down to down-shift. To rev the RPM's out a little farther, just pull the knob down past the D to S, which is the sport shifting. It really is a nice option to have to fill that occasional URGE for speed.
Safety is also a big part of the vehicle. It has six standard air bags... including driver and passenger curtain bags. The B-Pillars are thicker than the average vehicle to protect you in the event of a rollover. It also has standard ESP Electronic stabilization program, or traction control, that is standard. Electro-mechanical steering is also standard. It has very strong forged steel door handles. I remember a commercial where they had a couple of men standing on the door of the vehicle while it was open and the door closed and opened in full working order after the demonstration, so we tried it with some friends of mine to see. It probably was not the smartest idea right? Well the door still works to its fullest capacity with no issues, so what else is there to say? I do not encourage this to be done by anyone else. This is my personal experience with my own personal vehicle. Results may very!!!
This is just a very short review about the car and my experience in not only owning the car, but also selling the car in my short time as a Volkswagen sales rep. I had to become pretty knowledgeable of the vehicle in order to move the product. I wouldn’t feel comfortable selling it if I didn’t believe in it which is the reason for my writing of this review. I actually bought the vehicle because my wife and I recently had a awesome little baby boy and I needed a four door for the convenience factor of the dreaded baby seat. I traded in a 2 door coupe of another make of vehicle that I happened to like very much, but after driving the Jetta, in all honesty, it didn’t even compare. I am extremely pleased with the decision that I made and will never own anything else from here on out that is not German engineered. I hope this has been a somewhat informative article about the car that I praise so highly. If you want a full detail of the car, including pictures and more options available for the vehicle, check out http://www.vw.com/jetta/en/us/. Thanks for reading. Hope this helps on your next purchase of a vehicle.
