2004 Nissan Altima

I owned an 04 black Nissan Altima for nearly 3 years while serving in the military in Hawaii. The weather over there really took a toll on the paint of the car but otherwise the car held up fine and would run very smooth and easy. I got the car used but the interior was great and this car could comfortably seat me and 4 other grown men inside the car, which we would often do as we took trips around the island of Oahu' and to local clubs. The sound system was top notch with room in the trunk for any upgrade you would want to put inside the car. I really don't have many negatives of my experiences with this Nissan vehicle. This car however did have sporadic engine issues in the morning that were very complicated and very annoying when trying to get to work on time. It would have to be started early in the morning and you would have to wait for it to warm it up. It has a wonderful air conditioning system and on a hot day when you crank it up to the max it felt so cool and breezy inside the car, so much so that you could even pass out inside the car and feel great when you wake up. It has a pretty decent gas mileage meaning you could fill up and drive around all day and use about half a tank, even with the air conditioning on full blast. The interior although comfortable cotton was also bad about holding smells and stains inside your car but because it is cotton there where fairly easy to detail and clean up but it would take awhile for the shampoo to dry and the smells to go away. So if you are a smoker, meaning legal or illegal, I am not a judge as I often did both in this car as long as you have some sort of febreeze or other strong scent in your car then especially if its hot your car will reek of “tobacco” product smells if you catch my drift. Overall this car can easily rank a 4 star out of 5 stars. It is affordable and safe ride that is nice for a family vehicle that can support the needs of a young family, that even support two car seats in the back seat. It has plenty of back seat room for singles who may have other ideas of things to do in the back of a car especially if you park discreetly and have dark tint. I really enjoyed having this 04’ Nissan Altima and although I lost my car due to the economy but if you can afford this car then it would be a nice purchase to make and will last you for a while. It is very easily modified to fit any needs you may have including the windows, tint, rims, and more so the engine can be upgraded to fit your personal need for speed . I fully recommend this auto!
