I have owned my Jeep Wrangler Sahara for about 4 months and can't believe I didn't buy one sooner. I purchased my Jeep with the Freedom Hardtop and although I have some regrets I didn't go with the soft top I can't complain too much. This top is a piece of cake to remove; it does take two people when taking off completely but still simple and quick. I have all the creature comforts of a car including GPS Navigation and Sirius satellite radio. A couple of cons to this car would be the fact that 90% of the inside is hard plastic. Easily scratched and shows the smallest specs of dirt. Also the fact that it comes with carpet; when out four wheeling, you are bound to get mud and other stuff in the car. If there was no carpet you would be able to get out the hose and be clean within 20 minutes. I would recommend this car to anyone that loves off road adventure, and if you don't but prefer to sit a little higher than everyone around you, this is the one for you. For families, getting in and out of the backseat is not easy but Jeep resolved that issue with the four door model. Ride is smooth for a four wheel drive and the seats are comfortable and have several options for adjustments. Highly recommend this vehicle. Great to take the doors and top off and feel the wind in your hair!!!! The V6 engine is a huge upgrade over the 4 cylinder of past but it still drags a bit at initial acceleration. I would like to see them come out with a diesel version of this vehicle as it would help with gas mileage a lot. Towing has been good and it handles very well with a trailer behind it. Interior storage is a bit limited but doable if you get creative. This Jeep also has a lot of options to lock things up so you don't have to worry too much about sticky fingers passing by. The lifetime Powertrain warranty is very impressive and eases the mind a bit when taking it on long trips or out in the woods. I have only had my Jeep in for regular maintenance and have had no other issues. Would recommend going with the dual top option if you live in a cold area. Hard top in the winter and soft top in the summer gives the best of both worlds. I would also like to see Jeep make more models with the factory half doors. Door removal is simple but the doors are very heavy and once off, there are no side mirrors unless you relocate to the windshield brackets. Another great feature of Jeep vehicles is the amount of aftermarket upgrades you can purchase. This allows you to make the Jeep your own without breaking your wallet. Would recommend if planning on taking your Jeep off-road to seriously consider upgraded tires and suspension, this will improve the off road performance of the Jeep and also makes the ride a bit smoother when going over the rocks and boulders.
