2006 Toyota Prius

The Prius is simply out of this world. From the moment I stepped into the car and started to drive it I could feel the power and control the car had. With an unheard of 50 miles per gallon rating this car was just the car for me.

The pros of the Prius easily outweigh it's cons. The Prius takes the place of gas guzzling cars offering us a cleaner world. It saves thousands of dollars on gas a year. The car makes very little engine noise leading to peaceful drives. The car comes with a LCD display that is to die for. You can control almost everything from the LCD display including the radio, temperature in the car, and the speakers. The LCD also displays a "skeleton" view of the car showing which motor is currently at work. The Prius though it may look very tiny is big enough to sit almost anyone. For trips it drives very smoothly and leads to a comfortable ride to just about anywhere. The car is built ingenuously also, whenever you use the break it charges your battery causing you to never have to stop to recharge.

There are only a few cons to the Prius, mostly aesthetic. The Prius in general is just not a very pretty looking car. The shape of it helps with aerodynamics causing the car to get better gas mileage but looks terribly ugly. The motor being silent is one of the most prominent drawbacks. You can view the motor being as a perk so you can have an enjoyable ride, but the motor being silent can also be a massive annoyance. Whenever you drive through an area heavily populated with children playing in the street they cannot hear your car coming. They will literally stand there and not even no you are there. The only way to fix this problem is to honk at them which is quite a nuisance. The other most major drawback of the Prius is the horrible customer service. Whenever you may need a repair and want it done at the dealership be prepared to pay an arm and a leg. They, no joke, charge almost 3 times as much as if you were to go somewhere else. They also won't let you see your car while they work on it. Who knows exactly what they do to "fix" your car.

I would recommend almost anyone to buy this car. If you are pro-green there is no other way to send the message to save the Earth better than by driving a Prius. This car is simply magical in the way it runs. Most people don't like the aesthetic looks, but those can always be ignored.

Overall, I would suggest for people to buy the Prius. Its features easily out way it's drawbacks. In just about every category the Prius ranks highly. From gas mileage to power to comfort. If you have a chance to buy a new car go Prius and save the Earth!
