2009 Mitsubishi Galant

I wasn't sure what to expect when I had the opportunity to drive the '09 Mitsubishi Galant but I'm really glad I did. This car handles really well, city or highway driving. Extremely comfortable behind the wheel, I became accustomed to it quickly and was sad when I had to return it to the rental company. Driving on the highway is really smooth and the pick up is great too.

The Galant is an attractive looking car with a lot of room. There isn't a lot of storage though. One thing I like is being able to put "stuff" someplace and there isn't a lot of room for extras, unless they can fit into the centre console( which is really deep) or the slim spaces on the driver and passenger side doors that look good for fitting maps. The cup holders are deep, and can hold taller beverages. This is good because it's not likely anything will spill.

The interior isn't bad. Everything is easy to find except I was a little confused with the MP3 button located right next to CD player. I went looking for an auxiliary jack thinking that an MP3 player could work in here but I wasn't able to the find the jack. What that MP3 button meant was that the CD player could play a CD of MP3 songs. I was a little disappointed.

Sitting in the back seat is comfortable and there is a lot of space. The head rests don't move though and it would be nice if they did like the driver and passenger head rests do. The middle seat actually has a console within it. Pull it down and two passengers can use cup holders and an armrest. There are two foam tips inside each cup holder that look like they're supposed to support a beverage but seem flimsy.

A really nice ride and a fast car too. I would drive this again.
