2006 Dodge Ram 1500

Well I Own a 2006, Dodge Ram 1500. It’s a 2 door v-6 single cab. It’s pretty basic, although it has the Dodge 20" rims on it. I bought it used in 2007 with just about 13,000 miles on it. This is my daily driver, but is also my construction work truck. So as you can imagine I put a lot of miles on it annually. I have always been a Chevy or Ford guy. I never really liked the Dodge's, and had always heard the transmissions were crap. Not to mention my grandpa had replaced 3 Tranny's on one Ram within 5 years. Don’t get me wrong though, I have yet to have a single problem with mine.(knock on wood) It’s been about 2 1/2 years now, and the biggest fix was a tail light bulb. I do my 3,000 mile oil changes, and take pretty good care of it. The body is a different story. A lot of tools and material go in that bed, and it has the marks to prove it. Overall I give the 06' Ram 1500 two thumbs up. I have no complaints at all, and would recommend it to anyone. If I had to give any input, all I could say is I wish I had an extended cab.
