Good car if you're looking for a reliable hatchback that is generally cabable. It handles pretty well, but doesn't inspire the confidence of a Subaru WRX. That's probably not a fair comparison, since the WRX is more performance oriented.

One note - If snows where you live, change the tires. The tire shop guy said that the stock tires are nick named "Bald Eagles". I can attest to very poor snow performance with the stock tires. Once I changed the tires, it worked much better in snow.
