This car is a nightmare.I bought this car brand new. In just few months the Equinox has had never ending electrical problems.I have had alot of problems with the heating and cooling systems. I took it back to the dealership because of this weird buzzing sound coming from under the dash. They told me it was nothing and that i was being paranoid. But a few months later my Equinox caught fire under the dash. They claimed it was electrical.
I do not feel this car is safe because of my experience!

I OWN A 08 EQUINOX AND HAVE PROBLEMS ALSO BRAKES DRAGING DASH LIGHTS DIMMING WHIPER AND TRAILER FUSES BURNING OUT HAD A BATERY REPLACED ON STAR BATERY REPLACED AND STILL HAVE TO BOOST IF ITS PARKED FOR A WEEK DISGUSTED WITH POOR MILEAGE I HAVE ALSO HAD TO REPLACE THE WHOLE SHIFTING COLUME BUTIT STILL LOCKS UP WHEN I PARK AND HAVE TO GO AGAIN
