2007 Ford Escape

I liked this car because it was a great teenager car. It was roomy enough to fit all my friends and athletic gear, but not a huge SUV that guzzled a lot of gas. It has very good control and handled well and also had great 4-wheel drive (a necessity for Michigan winters!). I've even driven up and down snow covered hills and had no problem with losing control. The sound system was also decent. However, I did have some complaints about the car as well. In an accident, though the passengers were well protected, the body of the car would dent at the smallest incident of contact. It was just not very durable. Also, my transmission broke several times through no fault of my own, and as this was a brand new car and a lease, I was surprised that it had that kind of mechanical issues. Overall, it was a great first car and I would recommend it for anyone who needs space and isn't a fine car connoisseur.
