I bought this car because I liked the way it looked and because it's one of the fastest available for the money. Other than that, this car is not that great. Some examples of substandard features: * Except for the leather seats and Bose sound system, the interior looks and feels cheap. * It handles like &#!@. (52) * The brakes are terrible.
While Fords in general are not the most reliable cars around, this particular model is consistently rated below-average in established and reputable publications such as Consumer Reports. I didn't have the car long enough for things to start breaking down, but if I hadn't wrecked it I would've sold it long before I would've had a chance to find out if all of the bad reliability reviews are warranted.

I hav had one for 8 years. Problemsd, Zero -Zilch - Nada. Not even a brake job! And I have a lead foot. LOVE this car!!!
