The 2004 Dodge Ram (3.7 L V-6)Model is a pretty comfortable ride. the Ram seems to have tough suspension and a quiet motor to join it. Though only a V-6 in this case, the rest of the truck is up there with the big boys and its competition. The Dodge Ram also has a distinct rumble in the exhaust system (factory), that makes it sound tougher than what's really under the hood. Rear seating had plenty of leg room for average adults, and more than plenty for the young ones. The vehicles steering handles well and the 17" standard tires give it an even smoother ride. During the time that I owned it, there were no mechanical defects or concerns. Dodge Ram was a great product and I would drive it again; however, the fuel economy for the V-6 was a little dissapointing. It averaged approx. 12-14 MPG in the City and approx. 16-18 MPG on the highway.
