Ford's F-150 pickup comes in regular-cab, extended SuperCab, and SuperCrew models. The F-150 is available in six distinct trim levels: XL, STX, XLT, FX2/FX4, Lariat, and King Ranch. For the most part, this generation mirrors the current one in terms of cab styles, trim levels and powertrains. The flexible fuel version of the 5.4-liter V8 can run on E85 ethanol. At the bottom is a new V6 model available with an automatic or manual transmission. The F-150 is bigger, heavier, and more costly to build than the previous version, but it offers excellent handling, a quiet and refined ride, and comfortable interiors that show attention to detail.Trucks from the first half of the 1990s could be considered the last of the F-150s that placed utility first and luxury second.
