I loved the 2000 Mazda Protege. My friend bought one a few years ago brand new and she loves it. It is a great choice for someone who is on alower bracket budget but really wants a car that screams success. It is great on gas and rides liek a dream. i would not recommend it for fuller sized people but it is a great beginner car for someone on the stepping stone up. She still has the car and it rides just as good as they day she bought it.
