I was in awe of the car because of its size, and at nearly six feet tall, I fit very comfortably. Eager to see how it handled, I took it for a spin. The Smart ForTwo doesn't drive smoothly and because the engine is literally in the back seat, it is a very noisy ride. It's suppose to get up to 45 mpg. For a car that size I would expect much higher gas mileage. Bottom line. . .not impressed.

Name one car that gets very high mileage that's for "car enthusiasts". It's like saying a Ferrari isn't for family vacations. This car is clearly for people who see the need for a vehicle to fill the purpose for which vehicles are primarily intended: get me from point A to point B. Do it cheaply and reasonably well. This car does that, can bring someone else along and stuff, too. And it'll get about 2.5 times the gas mileage as a car for "car enthusiasts". I should know because I have both.

Add another vehicle to compare side-by-side
