If you are hating the gas prices, definitely go with a hybrid. If you want allot of cool extras as well, go with the Prius. It has an awesome navigation system, amazing multimedia console that allows you to do so many things. Also comes with a really neat back up camera that shows you what is behind you on you r console when you put it in reverse. It switches between electric power when idling, to gas when you are needing to get up to speed, a feat that nets you around 42 miles a gallon highway, 38 in the city.
