Despite the supercar numbers—0–60 in 3.3 seconds—that it weighs 3950 pounds is an indication that the 599 is a proper GT with a fully appointed interior, including a color-matched leather bootie for the onboard fire extinguisher. But everything else is just so much frippery with a 611-horsepower V-12 to spin to 8200 rpm and an automated manual transmission that cracks off shifts in 100 milliseconds.
