Who knew Ferrari was in the bargain business? Well, the 599 GTB Fiorano would be if you could get it for something close to its $300,000-plus MSRP, which you can’t—given the few examples on the market, even lightly used 599s can tickle the half-million dollar mark. From the house of Pininfarina comes a cohesively sexy design draped over a vehicle on accelerative par with Ferrari’s wild benchmark Enzo. Despite the supercar numbers—0–60 in 3.3 seconds—that it weighs 3950 pounds is an indication that the 599 is a proper GT with a fully appointed interior, including a color-matched leather bootie for the onboard fire extinguisher. But everything else is just so much frippery with a 611-horsepower V-12 to spin to 8200 rpm and an automated manual transmission that cracks off shifts in 100 milliseconds.
