2007 Toyota Prius

Like almost everyone now, I want a car that gets super good gas mileage. I rented a Toyota Prius for a weekend to see what it was like to drive, and decide if I was ready to buy one. It's not a bad little car--surprisingly roomy, similar ride to a Honda Civic or VW Jetta sort of car. The computer that lets you see your exact mpg from moment to moment is fun, if a little distracting. But it doesn't have a lot of power for climbing steep grades, and, most of all, it's just still too expensive to really warrant buying if you already have a car with good mpg. I'm waiting a while on this one.
