2000 Dodge Ram 1500

The Dodge Ram is a gas guzzler, but what a fun vehicle to drive! The power and get up and go of this truck is unsurpassed. When you are driving, you never have to worry about getting ahead quickly or moving out from a stop light. One soft touch tot he pedal and the truck is quick to jump ahead of the crowd. The warning is that during rain and slick streets, the quick to respond Dodge Ram will also end up sliding across the road, as we found out when we first bought it. The bed and tail end is so light that the truck will end up in a spin if you are not careful. There is just no traction in the back when the road is wet. So be warned and be careful. This vehicle is also not the most luxurious or comfortable. But it is sporty and is okay for short to medium trips. We bought ours to haul horses around with and for use on the ranch. For that purpose, the Dodge Ram is perfect. We never had a problem with performance or service. This truck was a jewel and we were sorry to see it go.
