Chevy HHR is great but needs improvement

My husband bought me this car when he found out our family was expanding. I've always loved the look of it, and I was not disappointed. However, after owning the car for two years, I do believe there are a few improvements to be made. The worst part about this car is the upholstery on the seating. It looks and feels really nice, but it stains at the slightest bit of moisture, even water! If you have a drop of water on your hand and touch the seat, there will be a stain. And if you try to clean the stain, the water you use for it will cause a bigger stain. In order to make it "look clean" you have to steam-clean every surface of the seat, including the back, sides, and edges - otherwise it will not match the rest of the seat and looks worse than before! Because of this, we are looking to trade in our car for another kind - with two kids, it's impossible not to get even water on the seats! I also dislike the placement of the cup holders (and there are only 3 in the whole car, I would like more), the window buttons, and the gear shift. If the window buttons were on the door where they belong, and the gearshift were moved up where the window buttons currently are, and the cupholders moved to where the gearshift is (and more added), it would be great. Other than those things, we love this car - it gets reasonable gas mileage (24mpg), looks terrific, and comes in great colors (like orange!).
