I rented this car when I travelled to a writer's retreat, and I have to say, it was boxy, handled only a smidge better than a go-kart, and wasn't nearly as fuel-efficient as I had hoped, given that this was a VW.

A girlfriend of mine drove it, and, while I didn't have this problem, she kept whacking her knee on the bottom portion of the dash (a consideration for you taller folks).

By no means was this a bad ride/rental at all....I guess I just had higher expectations, so I give it a resounding, "Meh"

    Dude, you must be a Toyota/Honda fanboy! How in the world did your stupid girlfriend keep hitting her knee on the dash? You say it only handled a little better than a go-kart? Dude, go jump in your Corolla!
