I live in a very rural area and neede an all wheel drive car that I could afford. I was fortunate to find this car with low miles and very clean. I am a 5'4" woman and find this car very comfortable to drive. And since I am older and have some arthritis, I also find it very easy to get in and out. The drop down rear seats make room for packing for a trip or transporting larger items. It is good on gas for an all wheel drive (about 30mpg). It handled very well during a very snowy winter. Some cons are that it feels like it doesn't take sharp turns very easily. The ride isn't as smooth as I would like. The cruise controls are placed in a confusing spot. If you blow a fuze, it is very hard to find and get to it. And lastly, there are some blind spots when looking in mirrors. All in all, I love my Matrix and if I ever need to trade it in (my last Toyota went for almost 200,000 miles), I will definetly get the newer version.
