The 2006 Mazda 3 appealed to me because it had great style, good gas mileage and a reasonable price. The interior has a really cool dash and display panel, but the material for the seats is not very soft. They offer an interior color choice where the carpet, seats and 3/4 of the doors are tan and the top of the doors and entire dash are black. Looks nice, but BEWARE! That tan upholstery gets dirty really quick. The manual transmission gives the 4 cyclinder engine more juice and it handles pretty well, but it's not a very smooth ride when going over a rough road or speed bumps. The back seat doesn't offer a lot of leg room, but it's really only a problem if you are tall. This car is a good choice for someone looking for a stylish, sporty car on a budget, but don't expect a lot of comfort.
