2002 Volkswagen Passat

We've owned our VW Passat for a few years now, and I have to say that I have been fairly impressed with this vehicle. The styling is good, and I think it is one of the best looking models available in the class. Interior size is good with plenty of room in the front and a good sized cargo area. The rear area can be a little cramped for taller adults, but the kids have no problem fitting in back there. Our model has the leather seats and wood trim, which looks terrific. Performance is good, the engine supplies plenty of power and even with a full load of adults, performance is excellent. Fuel economy has been adequate for a 6 cylinder engine, averaging 21-22 in the city and creeping over 30 in the freeway at speed. Electronics are all good, and my wife really enjoys the stereo. This is a perfect fit for a small family looking to get some room without buying a gas guzzler SUV.
