I wanted an SUV and this fit my budget. I live in an area where the winters get pretty tuff so I wanted something that could handle the snow a little better. While the Vue plows through the snow I find it to be very poor when it comes to control. I find with just and inch of snow or even a wet pavement after a good rain, I slip and slide and have spun out many times. overall the truck is fair at best and in three months I'm giving it back. One more thing it's bad on gas. 14 to the gallon!

    I have owend the 2004 Vue for over 3 years, and I have over 60K miles on the car. I do the usual oil changes, and check ups and that is it. I bought new tires for it, and it handles great. I can't complain about the small SUV, with good gas mileage for a V6, all the bells and whistles needed and more, at a very good price. The only complaint I have is that the car has a few small rattles inside that can sometimes be heard while driving, and I'm not sure if this is due to the previus owner or what, but can be frustrating. However, I buy a car for reliability and if it makes sense, and this car fit thos parameters. Very happy
