I drive out of town a lot going to concerts and visiting friends, I was interested in getting this car but I want to make sure it gets good gas mileage first

    No. I have a 2008 Jetta and it gets 21 MPG highway. I took it to the dealership several times and they do not know what steps to take to fix the problem - if any, according to them. Go with a Honda Civic.
