I think the new ford focus gets way better gas mileage

Have pvs generation Focus, 11L per 100 k's... Driving civilised. 1,6Si, brand new. Second one after the dealership replaced first one when delivered with many factory faults. First car delivered mid Oct 2008. Replacement car del early Dec 2008. Does consumption get any better?

My friend has an 08 Focus coupe, and he is averaging 36 combined city/hwy. So I don't see why you couldn't get close to 38 on the hwy
