It's this or a house, pretty much. I think I'd have more fun in this.

Where can you find a $164,000 house? Not in the Bay Area!

I would avoid blowing your wad on this monstrosity. Buy something sensible and save your money. You'll need it.

at least newly purchased house doesn't depreciate in value by 30%+, after you 'drive it off the lot'

heck no, get a house ... if it wasn't your life savings then I would say GO FOR IT ... but now is THE best time in history to buy a house ... both prices and interest rates are super low and property is always a good investment as long as you can ride out times like this ... if you buy the right property now it could be worth double in just 5-10 years ... you won't see that kind of stable return on any other investment, plus you get to live in it while you're at it! ... if you can, buy TWO houses and rent the other one out and that might just pay the mortgage on both of them and then you can buy this DB9 at the same time :-)

If you're like me, then yes. Instead of a house, buy a townhome or something. Just make sure your living quarters has enough space for you and you'll be fine.

I own one as well as a new ferrar430 spider. The aston sounds like a motorcycle gang the ferrari sounds like a motorcycle. The Aston is sexier, the ferrari is like driving a freak show. Women love the Aston, girls love the ferrari.
