I've been attracted to this car's amazing gas mileage and tiny footprint but I can't decide if the lack of side curtain airbags and small size means the car is simply too risky to drive.

    I don't think it's too risky to drive. It's definitely small and you won't be as safe in a large impact. However, you might be more able to avoid impact given how easy it is to maneuver
