Okay, I know it is a silly question, but I am half-serious. As financial experts are suggesting that a horrible depression may be just around the corner, how will this affect the vehicles that we drive? While the latest and greatest H2 and up models have become watered down cushy consumer models, the original was based on Hummers that were used in military campaigns for years. Could this be the perfect post-apocalyptic vehicle? It is certainly tough enough. The gas mileage isn't going to help, though.

    yeah, it kind of is, just as long as gas is available after armageddon. However, no car would be useful at that point and you could live in this one too.

    Get it in Diesel and convert to bio-diesiel for added fuel source. This ride can take a grenade head on!

    Diesel only, gasoline will not be around, but biodiesel is easy to make.
