I have a 2002 Sentra and like it but my friend keeps telling me about his 2008 Corolla. I've been in his car and it certainly is nice, but before I make any decisions I'd like to hear some other opinions.

Just rented one last week and it feels much quieter and solid than the 09 Corolla. It is $1,000 more than a Versa but offers more space and safety features and the financing is better. With the options, it is a better deal than the Corolla. I think of getting myseld one in the next 3 months.

I bought Sentra 2009 last week and I am enjoying driving it. Comfortable seats, roomy, quiet, smooth gear shifting (cause of CVT), and more importantly easy to control at high speeds. I drove two Corollas (2009) before deciding to buy Sentra, it was hard to keep in line at high speed and you have to hold the driving wheel tightly to control the car. I asked one of my friends to drive Corolla and Sentra too and he had same experience.

Hey Pete, found your poll from hubpages (I'm weddingconsultant: http://hubpages.com/profile/WeddingConsultant ).
Personally, I own a 2004 Sentra SER Spec-V and although it's got some great "kick" to it, I feel like I got only what I paid for (about $24K). A Corolla is a full sized sedan, so you've got more room in it. Plus it's not going to feel as "cheap" as my Sentra. I think my Sentra has most of it's appeal in the engine (which is good, yes), but less appeal in ascetics and other things.
There's my two cents!

HAVE A 2009 SL IN THE "RED BRICK" COLOR LIKE THE ONE IN THE PICTURE. GREAT CAR, VERY PLEASED. TEST DROVE A 2009 COROLLA, NOT EVEN IN THE SAME CLASS FOR QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE. THIS IS MY SECOND SENTRA. I DROVE MY 1992 FOR 17 YEARS WITH NO MAJOR PROBLEMS. TRADED IT ON THE 2009
