  Car decisions: Go for hardcore performance - or is the luxury and style worth the extra $$ ?

  I'm checking out these 2 cars for my next car in ?? (2-3 years). Do I go for pure hardcore performance (Lotus - I'm actually looking at the 2008 Lotus Elise SC - the supercharged, 220hp version of this car), or do I go for the added style, much higher trim and fit of the Audi for the extra $$... The articles refer to the Lotus Elise SC as the first "GREEN" supercar, since it has 4.x-second 0-60 and 1.0g roadhandling - but all while also having an average 25mpg epa! Let's keep this between me and you for now - Angela doesn't need to know ;) …more
