My drivers door is locked and will not unlock. I need the dealer to open it and understand that it is a KIA problem that is not recalled... I am wanting to know what I should do to get it paid for by Kia? they told me that it is a problem with KIAs, so i know it is not something i did. please let me know what my next step should be and what it should cost to get it open. thanks, Shelley

Well, if the problem is out of the bumper-to-bumper warranty, then the best you can do is call Kia customer service and complain and see what they will do for you. Remember, if you are calling them because your car has a problem and it is out of warranty, it is NOT Kia's responsibility. Be very polite, gracious and don't be a jerk. If they offer anything, be very thankful, they don't have to do anything.
