what is the warrenty on this car? Are they not covered like most with the 5year 100,000 miles ar do they know they wont stand up to that

Warranties are all over the map today. The normal warranty period of 5 years went to 3/36, then some up to 10/100. You'll have to check with the dealership. With the state of the US auto industry I think warranties are getting longer because they want to make us feel all warm and fuzzy.
