Your mechanic could be on crack. There is no "security button" I've ever hear of. Does this have a factory or aftermarket alarm system?

I believe the mechanic may be talking about the SENTRY key system.

That could be, but there's no button to reset it. Is he scanning it with a scan tool? If there's a peoblem with the SENTRY system it should show up on a scan.
