I would like to find larger brake rotors and calipers because the mountaineer seems to be under brak

Same as a 1996 explorer, same discription under as systoms described. I don't know if it can be retrofited with larger Lincoln brakes. Solution may be racing type drilled rotors and ceramic pads.

I did some checking and the only things that are carryover between your braking system and others are a few bolts and other fasteners. So your only real option is to go aftermarket. Save yourself some money thought and don't bother with those slotted or cross-drilled rotors. There are not many cars that can benefit from the de-gassing benefits privided by those holes and gaps. Just get larger rotors and higher performance pads.
