how do you change the battery on the 2002 chrysler 300?

You actually have to remove the right front wheel. You'll see a access panel where you can slide the battery out of. Once you pull the wheel off, you'll see what I'm talking about.

why do I have a battery in the trunk on my 2008 chrysler 300 touring

Sorry, I was thinking of the Sebring I think. The battery is in the trunk to free up space in the engine compartment.
