I'd check all the suspension joints, ball joints and tie rod ends. They may need to be greased or replaced.

I am currently having the same problem. I greased every joint and end under the front end and it went away for a while but has come back and i cant get it to quit now. For a quick fix i would try wd 40

Ok, when does it squeek? While moving or sitting still, or both? I'll tell you the two most common squeaks I've come across after squeaky suspension components. The trans shift linkage on automatic trucks and the pads between the cab/bed and the frame. For the linkage, have someone rock the body back and forth and you will hear if. Rub some white lithium grease on it. If it's the rubber "pucks" between the cab/bed and the frame use some silicone grease and spray it in there. NOT petrolium based grease though, that will deteriorate the rubber over time.

I'll tell you what I did. My sway bar bushings were squeeking. I removed the mounts for them, drilled a hole to accept a zerk fitting, then drilled a hole through the bushing. Assembled it together and pumped a little grease in there. I'd do that at each oil change and never had a squeek again. cost me $.22.

lower ball joints ( the ones without a grease fitting ) need to be replaced

Ahh. that sucks. It's a tough job. When you get the new ones make sure they are greasable. I HATE that just about all new cars come with suspension that's not greasable.

Among other things, WD-40 is a degreaser, and it only lightly lubricates. Because of that, you will not get good greasing/lubrication from it. Try white lithium grease, or other manufacturer recommended lubes instead.

WD 40 is worse than useless on a front end. IT has detergent properties so if anything it will break down grease and decrease lubrication. Using a proper grease on all joints and checking the CV boots is the beast route.

Auto is right. WD, BP Blaster or any other penetrating oil will degrade the grease and make matters worse.
