I Have a 2001 BMW X5 My question is do I continue to purchase the orignial tires the car came with?

It's not necessary at all but I always remind people that the car was designed with THAT size and even brand in mind so that'll give you the best COMPROMISE in the ride/handling/tire wear department. If you stray you will be trading one of those traits for the other two....
