I purchased a 2004 sebring convertable from a used car dealer and the best thing about it it had about 40,000 miles on it. Well I kept it up with my mechanics and then one day the engine over heats and stops . I even had the receipt from thee last oil change. Help!

It overheated? What engine did you have, the V6 or the 4?

I had the V6 engine, and by the way I live in Las Vegas did that have anything to do with the engine. Even when everything checked out right with all the cars instruments?

Depending on just what happened, it could just be electrically locked up. In some cases the computer will see the severe overheat condition and disable the ignition and/or fuel system. Take it to your mechanic for a better diagnosis. I"m assuming you didn't have the 7/70 powertrain warranty?
